New Website!
Thanks to Troop 1910’s Webmaster and Adult Webmaster, the troop has a brand-new website! They made the website from scratch, not the coding website Scratch, but from nothing except a hosting company and WordPress. They did this because they wanted it to look more modern. As they made the new website they came across multiple challenges but overcame them. One of the challenges was choosing the hosting company, but they finally chose IONOS. Another problem was getting all the text and images to fit just right. It was hard solving these problems, but when they tried hard enough, they got it right. One more problem was finding the right plug-ins, and experimenting with them. The plug-ins are for things like the high adventure countdown, the event calendar and list, and the parallax image. The website is still being improved. Right now you will see stock photos but the Webmasters will replace them with troop photos after they get all the permissions they need. They plan to post news articles like this one with pictures of outings, service, and more. They hope you enjoy the new website.
